Summer Music Series in the Children's Garden
Knox County Career Center, Martinsburg Rd., Mount Vernon, OH
This is the first of three concerts taking place this summer in the Children' Garden at the Knox County Career Center. Bring a picnic supper, lawn chairs, blankets, the whole family and all your friends too! Live music, the great outdoors, and a fun science activity provided by the Science Play-Space Initiative, otherwise known as SPI Spot How can you beat it? I kick off the first show with the Firefly band; the July 21 concert will be Miss B. Haven and the August 18 concert will be Padula Oblongata. Both groups are jazz, but very different configurations. These concerts are supported by funding from the Ariel Foundation.
