I was talking to my daughter, who was telling me how much her kids (my grandkids) enjoy my music. She was telling them how she designed the cover of two of my first cassettes, way back in the 80's! The first one, "Goodnight, Children", I recorded the songs I sang to them at night when they were going to sleep. I did this so that we could go out at night and the babysitter could play them cassettes on their Fisher-Price tape players! :) The second tape, “Magic Pockets” included several songs I wrote for them, in particular the title song for my son, Matt, at age 2 who never went anywhere without a bunch of stuff in his pockets. That song is a favorite of many…if you look closely at the drawing, the letters that spell Magic Pockets are each made up of many small letter describing items in the song itself… my creative daughter! And son, who still carries tons of toys with him, albeit they are more like tools and car parts :)
